Born in Lisbon, in 1979.

Graduated from Lisbon Catholic University’s Law School in 2002, and completed her internship at GDP – Gabinete David Pina.

In 2009, Sofia obtained a pos-graduate degree in Labour Law from the University of Lisbon Law School.

Sofia is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2002.

She started working as a lawyer at LGP – Luís Gonçalves Pereira & Associados as an associate and later as partner, focused on Legal Advice for companies, in the Civil, Labour and Commercial aspects, and in Civil and Labour Litigation.

Between 2011 and 2023, she was as in-house lawyer at Portugal Telecom/Altice Portugal Group, developing her activity in the areas of Labour Law, Social Security, Occupational Health and Safety, and Labour and Misdemeanor Litigation, as well as at a disciplinary level.

Sofia joined PLEN’s Labour Law and Litigation team in January 2024.
